A.I., experiments and proof of concept

Updated: Dec 20, 2021

Artificial intelligence is the ability of software to learn from experiences and improve itself. Canada FX Fund's (the Fund) artificial intelligence is F.A.I.T.H., every month she "learns", this is why we call each month an experiment cycle.

Think about a chess playing software. In its first game it losses against its human counterpart. The software then learns why it lost. On the second game the human player tries the same strategy and the A.I. beats the human player. On the third game the human player uses a new strategy and beats the A.I.. Once again the A.I. learns and wins the 4th game. This cycle continues until the A.I. learns all the human's tricks and can consistently beat the human.

The Fund's artificial intelligence F.A.I.T.H. does the same thing, but instead of learning how to play chess it learns how to trade and WIN in the foreign exchange market.

F.A.I.T.H. is an expert trader on the Meta-trader 4 platform. We enter the inputs - moving average, technical indicators, etc. Every month she learns based on her experience in the foreign exchange market and she improves. So how do we know that she is learning and that what we are doing is being successful?. That's where "proof of concept" comes in. Proof of concept is evidence from an experiment which demonstrates that a concept is feasible.

For the Fund, our aim is to successfully trade in the foreign exchange market(FX-market). As a result we have to prove that we can trade in the FX-market. How do we prove we can trade in the FX-market? - by getting consistent positive returns. If we can provide evidence that our A.I. can trade in the FX-market and make money every month - then we prove its feasibility. THAT'S WHY OUR HOME PAGE IS THE EVIDENCE. On our home page you see F.A.I.T.H.'s results month after month.

Our ultimate goal is to have our A.I. provide us with consistent returns, so that we can use those returns to improve the lives of our shareholders and the world.
